Fantastic!
April 28, 2006

This trilogy is SO good; it's a mix of fantasy, philosophy and wonderful character development. I cried my eyes out at the end -- part from the story and and part from it having to end -- I cannot recommend this series enough...it's wonderful!

Great books

This series of books are great.I was completely into these books within the first page. The only thing wrong with this series is the ending to it all.It is the most depressing ending to any book ever written.

Keep your money
April 26, 2006

I thought this whole series was just a way for Pullman to push some his warped out view of the world. I thought the first two books was pretty good, but I thought this book was just a little to over the top. I wouldn't recommend this to any young adults and I certainally would not recommend you buy it. If you are that curious about this book, I would check it out from your local library for free and save the cash for buying something like "The Artemis Fowl Series," by Eion Colfer.

a conclusion
February 02, 2006

This book is the final book in pullman's triliogy. It was better than the Subtle Knife but was not something i would highly reccomend to action readers. Overall the book is quite good though the ending is quite sad and will bring tears to any reader's eye.

Fascinating
July 15, 2005

This is my favorite book of the trilogy. By this time, I was an invisible entity who was completely involved in the adventure. I could not advise...all I could do was read and see what happens next. Phillip Pullman outdid himself on this one! The entire trilogy is absolutely fascinating, well written and generally brilliant in every way.
