Clifford A Pickover
A research staff member at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, Clifford Pickover is an author who “stretches the limits of computers, art, and thought” (Los Angeles Times). Pickover is the author of numerous books on such topics as computers and creativity, art, mathematics, black holes, human behavior and intelligence, time travel, alien life, religion, medical mysteries and science fiction. His titles includeArchimedes to Hawking, The Möbius Strip, Wonders of Numbers and The Mathematics of Oz. Pickover is also a prolific inventor with over forty patents, the associate editor for several journals and puzzle contributor to magazines geared to children and adults. He lives outside New York City.
